Scott W. Beeve, M.D., Ophthalmologist

Voted "GLENDALE'S BEST" & "FOOTHILL'S BEST" Ophthalmologist by the Los Angeles Times Glendale News Press Reader’s Poll since 2000. Dr. Scott William Beeve's training includes both a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Business Administration; and a Medical Doctorate from Loma Linda University. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine and further pursued an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Dr. Scott Beeve is now practicing with his father Dr. Jerold Beeve, who has been providing quality eye care for over 30 years. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Scott Beeve is an experienced eye physician and is fully trained to manage any general ophthalmological condition, but specializes in laser vision correction and is the best Glendale Cataract Surgery specialist in Glendale, CA. He has performed LASIK since its FDA approval in 1999.

Jerold E. Beeve, M.D., Ophthalmologist

Jerold Beeve was born in St. Helena, California. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1967 and completed his internship at William Beaumont General Hospital. Dr.Beeve is a member of the California Ophthalmology Society, California Medical Association, Los Angeles County Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Intraocular Society.

He is on staff at Verdugo Hills Hospital, Glendale Adventist and is a Surgical Instructor at USC Doheny Eye Hospital. Dr. Beeve is the founder and director of the Beeve Foundation, a non-profit orgnization dedicated to sight conservation worldwide.

Garineh Nersisyan, O.D., Optometrist

Dr. Nersisyan is a 2010 graduate of Southern California College of Optometry. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Physics from California State University, Northridge.

Currently she practices full-scope optometry in the Los Angeles and Palmdale areas. In addition to primary care, pediatrics, and contact lenses, she is glaucoma certified and licensed to treat ocular diseases.

Dr. Nersisyan is an active member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association. She is working on becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is fluent in Armenian and speaks some Spanish.

In her spare time, Dr. Nersisyan enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and Great Pyrenees outdoors.

Lead Technician - Marta

Marta obtained her credentials through JCAHPO. She is not only our lead technician but also performs as our LASIK and Cataract Coordinator. In her off time, Marta enjoys walking, cooking, and salsa dancing.

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant - Lena

Lena completed her course of study at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. She really loves spending time with her daughter and extended family. Lena enjoys walking, reading, and playing softball.

Ophthalmic Technician - Maureen

Maureen has over 35 years experience in the field of ophthalmology. She loves to play tennis, paddleball, and enjoys hiking. One of Maureen’s strengths is public relations. She’s great at building relationships with our patients and alleviating their fears, worries, and apprehensions.

Front Office - Melissa and Cindy

Melissa has been with Beeve Vision Care Center since 2001. She’s bilingual (English; Spanish), knowledgeable in medical billing procedures, and she schedules the majority of our patient’s ophthalmic surgeries. Melissa is very family-oriented and her husband had laser vision correction performed by Dr. Scott Beeve.

Cindy is bilingual (English; Spanish) and received certification from Glendale Community College as a medical biller. She’s very outgoing, always smiling, and loves to spend time with her family. Cindy was on staff at Beeve Vision Care Center from 2004 – 2008, moved out of the Southern California area for a few years, and now she’s rejoined us.

Opticians - Brenda and Jessica

Brenda has been a part of our practice since 2007. She graduated from American Career College and went on to become an ABO certified optician. Brenda is happily married, loves watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She is a highly trained and experienced dispenser. Brenda is also experienced in handling insurance and billing issues.

Jessica came on board with Beeve Vision Care Center back in 2002. She is very family-oriented and her passions include hiking, cooking, reading, and her pet cats. In addition to her customary duties, Jessica assists with off site promotional events such as health fairs.

Donna is a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid reader. She loves cats! Donna enjoys growing her own vegetables, sewing, and other crafts.

Office Manager - Michelle

Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and is a Member of the Whitehead Leadership Society. She has 20 years business experience and Michelle is a dog lover, likes to bake, and enjoys photography.
